TERRANOVA Impact Initiative is a mission-driven organization working at the intersection of environmental stewardship and human development. We were founded in response to the growing reality that climate shocks, economic vulnerability, food insecurity, and poor education outcomes are reinforcing cycles of poverty across Nigeria and similar contexts.
Why “TERRANOVA”
TERRANOVA means New Earth and reflects our commitment to renewal, regeneration, and opportunity. It also represents Transformative Empowerment for Resilience, Rights, Agriculture, Nutrition, Opportunities, Voices, and Adaptation, the principles that guide our work.
To strengthen community resilience by supporting families, especially women and young girls, to improve their livelihoods, nutrition, environment, and access to safe learning. We achieve this through practical, locally-led solutions that build economic stability, protect natural resources, reduce malnutrition, and remove barriers to education.
